Reason Number 3.
Gardening XD...I  absolutely adore working in the garden... Other than being able to get my hands in the dirt, its also amazing to grow ALL the wonderful vegetables. guyss i have so many tomatoes this year <3

Reason number 4.
W A T E R M E L O N
i legit could eat watermelon every single day.. "Happiness is cold watermelon on a hot day". random fact. my grandpa runs a garden center & ALWAYS had tons of fresh fruit and veggies galore... & that love of all tings fruit got passed on to the kids, and grand kids (MEEEE) also another random fact 10 out of 11 of my grandpas kids have a garden center/ produce business.

farmers tans. lets just all agree right now that the deathly pale/almost-blending-into-the-snow-look kind of sucks. (at least for me cause i live in a state that snows in April.. April!) So i welcome whole heartedly the healthy brown arms and sun-kissed summer face.XD XD XD

Annndddd last but most defiantly not least... i give you...
Reason Number 7
Sunrise/Sunsets.
I find it incredibly amazing how ever sunset, the sky is a different shade. No cloud is ever in the same place. Each day is a new masterpiece An new wonder. A new memory.

So guys go outside tonight, take a book & blanket and go watch the sunset (if your me and can’t/won’t wake up at 5:30 to see the sunrise)
Or sunrise, and just enjoy the summer cause it won’t last forever.

///hair gets lighter. days get longer, life gets better, watermelon gets eaten. Gardens grow. Beach days. Farmers tans\\\

Only memories of days gone by?
their relationship would be old fashioned. but that was okay. Because old fashioned and whimsical fit perfectly with a southern summer.

REVIEW

let me just start by saying that I adore this book. it is so sweet and fun! it was so refreshing

to read a book that wasn't ALLLL mushy and fake. this is romance. but its a beautiful,
refreshing & real kind XD. not to mention the Characters are pretty awesome as well.
It's a book about summer. an old fashioned romance, dancing in the rain and, falling in love.

Guys. BUY. THIS. BOOK.

SMALL, TINY, BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS

Its like Anne of green Gables said once.

"I believe that the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens, but those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another  softly like pearls off of a string."
I don’t want to spend my life waiting for the big moment and missing all the beautiful small, insignificant, precious times that are scattered through my every day life.

And I think so often life can become monotonous.  We go to work all day, we come home and do our little evening things and go to bed. And then the next day repeat it all over again.
Sometimes I feel like I’m in a “ I can’t  wait for the next big moment”  mode to the point where I let my days slip by without appreciating them for what they are. Amazing brand new, glorious days.
And also when I treat each day like it’s boring I am in a sense telling God that this day that he created isn’t worth my effort into making it amazing.
Honestly guys this is just kind of a rambling post. I feel as though most of my posts are like that and at the end I have to apologize that they are but, Yeahhh hopefully it still makes sense to you XD
 But i have to like legit stop myself and be like Hey EVERY DAY IS BEAUTIFUL & PRECIOUS & AMAZING & FILLED WITH DELIGHTFUL LITTLE MOMENTS. i want to cherish those moments & fully value them.  because  e v e r y  s i n g l e   m o m e n t  i s  a  treasure

so today stop and smell the roses

Some small & awesome moments you experienced this month + what is one of your favorite every day experiences.

OH THOU VINTAGE SOUL

I’ve always wished I could have been born exactly 100 years ago in 1899 instead of 1999.
My heart has always longed to wear the pretty dresses & the hats. Don’t even get me started on how AMAZING the hats were.
So yes this might be a kind of strange post for those of you who don’t know what I mean, and that’s okay cause we’ve all got different dreams and wishes  BUT for those of you who do know what I mean welcome to the Ramblings post XD  I hope I make at least a little  bit of sense.

I'm a dreamer of dreams
The word Whimsical describes me in a nutshell

my vintage soulness
  • My “style” is elegant/vintage/ If you look at my closet you will find mostly dresses (don’t get me wrong I loveee my T shirts & casual wear) but there’s something about putting on that dress that makes me feel elegant. haha I've been wearing summer dresses since march
  • I love L.M.Montgomery. Her books for me are magical. They give you a glimps of childhood gone by, of love so pure and sweet, and of a time where things were more simple & uncomplicated. She captures the everyday moments & spins them into delightful tails
  • My favorite books are old book. Not even kidding I have like 10 books written in the early 1900 and dude there’re like da best.  Let’s just say novels were not the same back in the day cause honestly they are like some of the best books I’ve ever read.
  • Also am i the only one who wishes that they could have lived in the time of C.S.Lewis, L.M.Montgomery, Frank Sinatra, Winston Churchill & all the other amazing and famous peope of the 1900s!!!
And like legit guys this really isn't a rant about how i wish i could have lived 100 years ago.... I guess what im trying to say is that Embrace the person that God has made you to be, and if He made you to love the 'good old days' well than more power to you. But always remember that you are here in this time for a reason. never forget that!

So here’s to all you who are vintage at heart. stay the way you are. Read ALL the old books your heart desires, have boxes and boxes of records & closets full of beautiful dresses . XD

SO WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THIS POST? (srsly im dying to know) WHAT IS SOME VINTAGE THING THAT YOU ENJOY/LOVE + FAVORITE SINGER FROM THE 1900's
