LIVING MY BEST LIFE

To be honest with you i don't really have words to describe this past weekend, or the pictures that we took. we didn't do anything crazy or adventurous, we just had fun together. and that really makes the best of times! just hanging out, laughing (there was plenty of that)  playing games & singing around our campfire! it was a good weekend. and memories were made that i'll always treasure.

CALLED TO LOVE

I often tell my closest friends I love you because I love you. Because I love you.. to show them that I love them not because of their style, or looks or interests,or because they have a good home life. I love them simply because I love them. But honestly there are people I like, more because they love Jesus so much it literally overflows and shines in there lives.  Isn’t that incredible. Your love for Jesus spilled out and is a radiant light! 

Jesus called us to LOVE  BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVED US. 

Even in that we are still  called to love. Called to love the hard people. The ones who wound you, called love the unloveable. Yep that’s the one, the person that came to your head. That’s the one you are called to love them deeply. Not because they are nice to you, or because you get along with them always.Loving someone you don’t want to is probably one of the hardest things ever. 


It’s really a simple concept. He loves, we love. 
Our God is good so let’s follow his commands and love like we are not promised tomorrow. Because we’re not.

I really enjoy reading tag posts, i think its a nice way to find out a bit more about the blogger, and since autumn is upon us (at least us who live in the northern part of the USA) the days are already feeling cooler and the leaves are beginning to change color. I figured this would be a perfect time to celebrate all the fallish things :) Also autumn is one of the most beautiful times of the year!

Although there are so many books to choose from, I'm going to have to go with The Blue Castle by L.M.Montgomery

probably the crisp, earthy smell of the leaves

An Chestnut Praline from Starbucks. they are amazing!!

So much YES. Chai Tea is literally one of the best things in the world.



(7) what excites you the most about Autumn?

The crisp early mornings when there is just a hint of frost in the air. its one of the most invigorating/peaceful  things ever.

(9) favorite thing to do in Autumn?

So there's this Cider Mill 20 minuets away from my place & no kidding they make the most amazing donuts & fresh Cider ever. i don't like donuts as a rule but these are soooo good! like i could eat a dozen if i had no self control....

Dayyys by the river are the absolute best. Esp when it’s 90 out side

August was a super chill month... kinda. There were crazy busy days & absolutely relaxing days :) is it bad that I can’t remember everything that happened this month 🤦‍♀️ also can we alll agreee that Cheese danish are da bomb. We spent the last weekend of August visiting my cousinsss. Slept in till 10 every morning, played endless games of Scum, ate WAY to much food, went to coffee shops, hung out in there pool, had campfires and music & didn’t go to bed till 2 AM (or later) every night. #bestwaytoendthesummer
